Angelina continued to criticize Brad amid their ongoing divorce battle, with the focus continuing on his Chateau Miraval winery ownership.
Brad accused her of selling her share of the winery with the intention of deliberately ‘inflicting damage’ by closing the sale with a total ‘stranger’, thus violating the agreement.
According to RadarOnline.com, which obtained the court documents, Angelina called Brad’s allegations “frivolous, malicious and part of a problematic pattern,” while her legal team provided an update on the legal battle.
Pitt claimed that they both agreed not to sell their interest in the property without each other’s approval because they were both owners.

The documents added: “Pitt’s allegations that he and Ms. Jolie had a secret, unwritten, and implied contract to a right of consent to the sale of their interests in the property are directly contrary to the written record and, among other defects legal, violate the Fraud Statute and public order.’
This comes after an email recently resurfaced where Jolie explained the rationale behind her decision to sell her share of the property.
A TikTok user under the handle @magshrts1 posted the contents of the email, which the Oscar-winning actress wrote in January 2021, which Entertainment Tonight confirmed in a court filing.
The Those Who Wish Me Dead actress said she wrote the email “not to get emotional” when explaining her reasoning behind her decision to sell her stake in the winery.
“It’s where we brought the twins and where we got married on a plaque in my mother’s memory,” Jolie said. ‘A place that promised what could be and where I thought I would grow old. Even now impossible to write this without crying. I will cherish my memories of what it was like a decade ago.’
The Los Angeles native said the winery “is also the place that marks the beginning of the end for our family — and an alcohol-centric business.”
Jolie said she hoped the winery “could somehow become something that brings us together,” but now she saw how Pitt “really wanted to [her] and will probably be happy to receive this email.’
