Royal fans go wild over Elizabeth Arden's raunchy post following 'frozen' Prince Harry reveal

‘Isn’t there bad publicity?!’ Royal fans go wild over beauty brand Elizabeth Arden’s cheeky post after Prince Harry revealed the use of its cream in his ‘frozen todger’ in a bombshell book

Royal fans went wild over Elizabeth Arden’s latest social media post after Prince Harry revealed he used one of her creams in his ‘frozen todger’.

In his bombastic memoir Spare, which was published on Tuesday, the Duke of Sussex, 38, tells how his groin was severely affected by the cold during a charity trip to the North Pole in 2011.

After trying some home remedies, the father of two told how a friend recommended a product from the American beauty brand.

While the Duke didn’t name the product, he did go on to describe how Princess Diana had used it on her lips – leading readers to speculate that it was Elizabeth Arden’s cult classic Eight Hour.

Quoting what he said to his friend, Harry wrote: “My mum wore this on her lips. Want me to put this on my todger?

After reassurance from his friend that the cream worked, Harry bought a tube, saying the smell brought him back to his childhood, when his mother was still alive.

‘I felt like my mother was there in the room. So I took a little bit and applied it… down there,’ he recalled.

Ahead of Tuesday’s book launch, the US beauty brand tweeted about its hyaluronic acid and highlighted its winter benefits.

Using a snowflake emoji, they wrote: ‘Have you heard about boosting hyaluronic acid but did you know it is extremely helpful during the colder months?

‘The trick is to apply it to damp skin – HA pulls moisture from the environment into the skin.’

Following Prince Harry’s biography, Twitter users mocked the post’s emphasis on protecting skin in the cold.

One joked: ‘Can you confirm this will help with a frozen todger? Prince Harry says yes??

Some readers suggested that the cream that Prince Harry refers to in the book is the brand's 8h cream, which comes in a tube, as he describes in the book.

Another added: ‘NOT SUCH BAD ADVERTISING RIGHT.’

“Please let Harry be the face of Elizabeth Arden in 2023,” wrote a third.

Meanwhile, a fourth wrote: ‘Explore Antarctica and the Arctic without worrying about your todger!’

Earlier this week, horrified fans said the Prince Harry anecdote – which featured references to Princess Diana – was a “Freudian nightmare”.

In his audiobook, Prince Harry makes a point of pausing between saying he felt his mum was in the room with him before applying the cream ‘down there’.

The words ‘my penis, mother and lips’ should NEVER be used together ANYWHERE,” said one outraged user.

“If you think you’re having a bad day, think of Elizabeth Arden’s social media manager, who has just been working at a global beauty products company for a premium cream company for the last few hours.” another said.

“I need therapy after hearing this,” said a third.
