featured image

The 2023 Golden Globes took place last night, marking Hollywood’s first major awards show of the season and a return for the event, which last year was not held in its normal capacity. That, along with several years of Covid regulations, meant that 2023 marked the first normal Golden Globes red carpet we’ve had since 2020 – and the fashion world was excited to see what the celebrities and their stylists would come up with.

From the elegant and understated Prada courtesy of Letitia Wright to Anya Taylor-Joy in sunny yellow Dior and a predictably dramatic look from Rihanna, there was plenty of celebrity fashion statement to celebrate.

Below, we’ve rounded up our 10 favorite Golden Globes red carpet looks. To learn more about the event, follow here.

Anya Taylor-Joy and Dior always make a dreamy red carpet combination, and the Golden Globes were a perfect example of that. The actress wore a two-piece outfit customized by the house consisting of a strapless bralette and a column skirt, both in sun yellow. She added a Tiffany & Co choker necklace and wore her hair straight and simple.

Ana de Armas in Louis Vuitton

Ana de Armas opted for a flowing ball gown for the evening in the form of a black Louis Vuitton pleated design that featured a structured patterned panel at the front. She opted to wear minimal jewelry with just a diamond bracelet.

We always love to see what Letitia Wright wears to the red carpet and her orange and white Prada dress was one of our favorites so far. The tight fit was chic and simple, with a subtle slit that revealed a pair of matching orange sandals, and she added some statement earrings.

Though she missed the red carpet, Rihanna didn’t miss an opportunity to turn heads with her Golden Globes ensemble. The singer looked sensational in a tight black dress by Schiaparelli, which she wore with a dramatic black velvet wrap and matching opera gloves. Cartier jewelry and intricate hair added to the Old Hollywood aesthetic.

It’s Jenna Ortega’s moment, and the actress has done it all. She wore a very flowing and form-fitting pleated nude dress by Gucci with scalloped details and an extra-long train, adding a trio of gorgeous Tiffany & C0 diamond necklaces to the look.

Michelle Yeoh in Armani Privé

Michelle Yeoh proved that sequins aren’t just for the festive season, wearing a sparkly Armani Privé gown to the awards show. The floor-length design featured a peplum hem and lots of glitter. She completed the look with more sparkle in the form of her sparkling Moussaieff jewels.

Hannah Bagshawe in Valentino

Hannah Bagshawe stole the spotlight from her husband Eddie Redmayne, whom she supported, in a gorgeous, dramatic, black, backless Valentino gown. Wearing minimal jewelry, she let the volume of the dress do the talking.

All eyes were on Margot Robbie, who has been stepping out of her comfort zone lately. For the Golden Globes, the actress went back to a tried-and-true brand, wearing a light pink fishtail dress by Chanel, which featured a halter neckline and just a little frothy tulle.

Monica Barbaro in Dolce & Gabbana

We love an old Hollywood moment at an awards show, and one of our favorites of the night came courtesy of Monica Barbaro, who looked chic and elegant in a strapless red dress by Dolce & Gabbana.

Jessica Chastain in Oscar de la Renta

A Jessica Chastain red carpet moment rarely disappoints, and her cobweb-inspired Oscar de la Renta gown was the perfect choice. The dress was nude underneath and covered in sparkling crystals – she continued the minimalist jewelry trend, letting the dress take center stage.
